Dr W McCartney MVB, Dipl ECVS, DSAS (Orth), PhD, MRCVS. RCVS recognised specialist in small animal orthopaedics (www.rcvs.org.uk) and a European recognised specialist in small animal surgery (www.ecvs.org).
Dr William McCartney is the principal surgeon at NOAH and has 20 years experience in referral orthopaedics and neurology, with over 35 peer reviewed publications in these areas of expertise. He has been performing total hip replacements since 1990, was the first to do total elbow replacements and total knee replacement in Ireland. Spinal surgery, fracture and joint surgery have been routinely performed since 1992 in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
